Uncle Bad Touch Richardson and the fall of photography…

It seems Terry Richardson has a hard time not being creepy and perverted in his daily life. If you've ever seen any of his photography work, he has a hard time not being a complete pervert and borderline pedophile/hebephile in his daily life. Yet, the MeToo brigade finally caught up with Uncle Bad Touch... Only, you fucking pearl clutchers are about a decade or more late on that train. Go ahead and click that button and see why. (more…)

Food Soul

Nearly every religion and/or school of philosophical zen system has a basic idea in common: That you have to be honest with yourself and know yourself before you can do anything else for anyone else. The funny thing is while it sounds really simple, truly knowing yourself is very difficult. You have to be willing to face all those horrible memories and events from the past you don't want to think about. You have to admit how every day of your life has affected you and led to your growth and evolution as a spirit. I know we are getting real zen here. Bare with me because this isn't just East...

There Be Cat Ladies Here…

So, Dave recommended that I should go ahead and talk about these insufferable people that align themselves onto a website. These are people you wouldn't talk to. These are people you wouldn't associate with. You wouldn't allow these harpies into your own home. And I'm sure they smell like lack of feminine products. If you're already assuming I'm talking about The Mary Sue, then hang around! (more…)

Alignonsense or Pro Wrestling Evolution Part 1

I'm not an old fuddy-duddy. I don't mourn the loss of the territory system or the Attitude Era. God knows I don't miss The New Generation. I'm not an ECW Smark and I never will be a RoHbot. That's not to say I don't like it. I love wrestling, I can't not watch wrestling. It's in my blood. But I don't pretend any era was inherently superior. Where am I going with all of this? Kayfabe. In-Character Universe. The Suspension Of Disbelief. For pro wrestling it's changed. In order to tell a story of two men wanting to tear each other into little meaty chunks over a strap of leather and gold, some...

You Got Worked, Bro

Today, it's time to cover the curious case of Aubrey Sitterson. I normally don't mention jack or shit about comics, as my favored medium is the written one. Regardless of that, Aubrey is a subject that gets my eternal ire. To be blunt, he's a human stain on more than one medium. Our first interlude with him was on his now failing wrestling podcast, STRAIGHT SHOOT. He used this platform back then to bring in the hipster audience to pull apart the chains of professional wrestling. Somehow, he didn't take the hint that he wasn't special back then. (more…)

Switch-ing Up the Rankings

A funny thing happened in the video game industry in 2017. No it wasn't anything to do with Augmented Reality and/or VR. Let's be honest. Resident Evil 7's VR mode is terribad and Capcom should feel bad about it. No the funny thing is... that sad sorry little Number 3 of 3 ranked console maker. It released a new console ahead of the other two. And it has been #GLORIOUS! (sorry Bobby Roode) (more…)

Off to Fantasy Land

This will give away a bit about your two writers/hosts, but don't worry. We're all friends here. Or at least frenemies. Whichever term you want to use, I'll go for it. Not like you're interested in what I'm wanting to call us, but here is something that I do want to talk about. I want to acknowledge where we came from. And in a way, I want to put a light on how convergence ruined where we came from... (more…)

The DREAM is Over

This is going to be a slightly brief post, but aren't most OP-EDs? What the title is referring to is the DACA act and the recipients who call themselves "Dreamers". The children of illegal immigrants who are born in the US to anchor them via an nationalization exemption in the Constitution. The children are allowed to stay, yes, but the parents (by law) are sent back to their point of origin. At least, until Obama passed DACA. (more…)
